20 weeks down, 20 to go!

Today I am officially 20 weeks!
Yesterday we had another ultrasound to make sure the baby was healthy and growing, but also to find out the gender!! After sitting around for a half an hour and being poked and prodded (I got a flu shot and had blood drawn), we were finally moved to the ultrasound room... and waited some more!!

Eventually the ultrasound lady came in... yes I was VERY impatient! First she did some measurements and found the heartbeat- baby looks perfect and is still measuring at the same due date of Feb 12 :) It's was sooo nice to hear that everything looks great and that there really isn't anything for me to be worrying about! Then she said, "Well guys, how does a little girl sound?" I said, "I'll take her!" She then showed us on the machine, and it was very obvious she was a little girl! I'm 100% there wont be any surprises at her birth! :)

It's true we both really wanted a boy, but that was for silly reasons- like we already had a name picked out. But I am VERY excited about those HUGE flower headbands and Todd assures me he is very excited also! Yes, we have NO IDEA what we will name her, but we have 5 months to talk and pray about it, and hopefully avoid as much tear shed as possible!!

I will tell you my top 2 choices- Alexis (Lexi for short) and Ainsley. We will work on middle names when we figure out a first!

Well, Kathleen is a very popular option.

What does Todd think of the names? James was in agreement with the names I had picked out for Gwenevere but in the end he picked out her name. He remembers her birth better than I do. hehehe so in the end I figured he had more say.

I like the name Kathleen too. hehehe

Actually Todd likes both of my choices, he's just still hoping I will like his- Shyla.

Sorry Katie- don't think I'd be able to have a Katie, but I still love you!
